The Revolting Cocks [ tickets ]' new album, "Sex-O Olympic-O," is set to be released Oct. 14 on 13th Planet Records, the label founded by Ministry/RevCo driving force Al Jourgensen.Jourgensen, who produced the new disc, had planned for the album to be RevCo's swan song. However, vocalist Josh Bradford said in a statement that the quality of the material inspired Jourgensen to slightly change plans."I am leaving after this album, and I'm turning it over to a younger generation of RevCos--much like Menudo does or Blue Man Group," Jourgensen said in a statement. "It started in 1983--with me, Luc Van Acker and Richard 23 from Front 242," he said. "There were three of us, and now, I've found these other three young knuckleheads who I think capture the true essence and spirit of being 'a Revolting Cock,' if you will."Jourgensen's vision for RevCo has one condition: in five years, the three current band members, Bradford, Sin Quirin/guitars, and Clayton Worbeck/keyboards, must turn the band over to three other new guys. "They have to find the right people to carry on the tradition--which is a lot of keg parties, beer chugging, throwing up, sexual abnormalities," Jourgensen said.Details of an upcoming Revolting Cocks fall tour to support "Sex-O Olympic-O" are soon to be announced.

Pete Doherty is in trouble with his ex-cell mates - Tabloid Hell
Babyshambles frontman Pete Doherty has apparently run up a large amount of debt from his stint in Wormwood Scrubs - and now the in prison I.O.U. notes have returned to haunt him.
According to the Daily Star, Doherty has got inmates on his back - and some could be out of the slammer and hunting him down sooner rather than later.
The star apparently racked up debts of over 100.
A source from the Wormwood Scrubs's exercise yard warned: "Pete should definitely still be looking over his shoulder. He was terrified when he was inside - he was getting threatened all the time and still not safe now."
The source then ominously added: "They'll even wait until they come out or send someone else."
Doherty was released from prison on May 6 after serving 29 days of a 14-week jail sentence after breaching probation.

"Idol" runner-up David Archuleta signs record deal
LOS ANGELES (Reuters) - Popular "American Idol" runner-up
David Archuleta has signed a record deal and is expected to
release an album later this year, his new producers at 19
Recordings/Jive Records said on Thursday.
With a record deal in hand, 17-year-old crooner Archuleta
joins past "Idol" also-rans such as Chris Daughtry, Jennifer
Hudson and Clay Aiken who have leveraged their stardom on hit
television show "Idol" into record, film and Broadway fame.
This season Archuleta was widely expected to win the No.
1-rated TV talent show, but he lost to rival David Cook on the
program's final episode in May by 12 million votes.
Simon Fuller, creator of "American Idol" and founder of 19
Entertainment Label Group, said Archuleta instantly won over a
huge audience and has a great future ahead of him.
"It was fascinating to watch David's journey through
'Idol.' He is a genuine pop star, and is a gifted singer,"
Fuller said in a statement.
Daughtry, Hudson and Aiken all lost in past seasons, too.
Daughtry currently has a hit album. Hudson won a supporting
actress Oscar for her role in movie musical "Dreamgirls," and
Aiken has appeared on Broadway in "Spamalot," among his various
credits since "Idol."
The show averaged about 27 million viewers a week this
season.

Moving Mole Could Get R. Kelly Off
So this is what it's come down to with R. Kelly: Is there really a mole on his back, or did it magically appear on his alleged kiddie-porn tape?
Yesterday, Kelly's defense team showed jurors that the supposedly implicating mark could just be fuzz on the tape, and not an actual dermatologic deformity. Also, an expert demonstrated the tape could easily be doctored – he decided to make the man and the woman headless, which the Chicago Tribune described as "Washington Irving" characters.
Unlike Ellen Degeneres and Portia de Rossi or Sulu (see below), Rosie O'Donnell says she won't get hitched until gays can marry everywhere – including New York, where she lives.
Ro says that she is going to "wait until it's legal everywhere, because otherwise, I said to Kelli, we'll be going around touring the country on the marriage tour every state by state." (What that means, exactly, is unclear.) She's going to hold off until it's a federal law.
No word on whether she would do the deed in, say, Mississippi.
Ex-Mob moll Victoria Gotti was supposed to write her memoirs – and pocketed $70K from HarperCollins for the task.
But she never wrote the book, and now the publisher wants its cash back, and is suing her for the non-delivery. In the lawsuit, HarperCollins says the book was due back in 2005, but they never got the stuff, and they say Gotti ended the deal last September.
Of course, the money wasn't returned – and her lit agent says she'll return it when she gets another deal.
Super gaysian George Takei will marry Brad Altman on September 14 at the Japanese National Museum in L.A. The best part? Chekov (Walter Koenig) will be the best man, and Nichelle Nichols – yep, Uhura – will be matron of honor! ... Clint Eastwood brushes off Spike Lee in a sit-down with the Guardian, growling that Spike's criticism of his WWII films is nonsense: "A guy like him should shut his face."
